    IJoLCAS (Indonesian Journal of Life Cycle Assessment and Sustainability) is a peer-reviewed journal covering studies in the areas of LCA and closely related methods to assess sustainability. It aims to support global sustainable development with emphasize on the cases of Indonesia, Asia, and surrounding regions. The first issue of IJoLCAS is now available for download here.

    Dr Peter Saling has been appointed president of the SC5 Life Cycle Assessment Group, the committee that developed the LCA standards ISO 14040 and 14044 and the water footprint standard ISO 14046. He is joined by new vice-chair Dr Nydia Suppen-Reynaga and new secretary Mr. Jean-Charles Michaud. Currently, the SC5 is preparing for an update of LCA standards ISO 14040 and 14044.
