Food for Thought Series 2013 underway
On Thursday 25th July, Professor Greg Thoma from the Sustainability Consortium and the University of Arkansas spoke to audiences in Christchurch at Enviro-Mark Solutions and the University of Canterbury as part of the New Zealand Life Cycle Management Centre Food for Thought Series 2013. The Sustainability Consortium boasts an international memebership working together to improve the use of life cycle thinking and Life Cycle Assessment to improve the sustainability of products. The Consortium also plays a key role in advising procurement and retail buyers at the world’s largest corporations. Greg discussed the motivation for the setup of the Consortium, its main achievement and its future direction iwth assorted audiences of academics, procurement managers and leading business people.
