LCA/M and Industrial Ecology Student Symposium
Thursday 30, March 2017
Are you a Life Cycle Assessment/Management (LCA/M) student or academic? Do you want to know more about or work in the fast developing field of industrial ecology? Do you want to stay updated on the latest developments in environmental footprinting methods?
Then the upcoming Student Symposium on LCA/M and Industrial Ecology is where you need to be!
The Life Cycle Association of New Zealand (LCANZ) and the New Zealand Life Cycle Management (NZLCM) Centre are organising a one-day symposium on LCA/M and industrial ecology on 30 March 2017, at Massey University in Auckland. Our keynote speaker, Dr. Anthony Halog – an industrial ecology specialist from the University of Queensland, Australia – will bring along a wealth of experience in Life Cycle Sustainability Assessment (LCSA), sustainable production and operations management, corporate environmental management, and greening supply chains.
If you would like to make a presentation yourself, you’re invited to submit an abstract by 13 February – you will be notified of the outcome by 1 March. There will be a $500 prize contributed by thinkstep for the best presentation at the Symposium, and limited travel funds will be available for students presenting at the Symposium.
So come along and meet with others studying LCA/M and industrial ecology, contribute your views, and receive feedback from your peers to improve and build on your research. We look forward to seeing you there!
More details and a registration form will be available soon. In the meantime, if you would like more information please contact: Professor Sarah McLaren, s.mclaren@massey.ac.nz, (m) 021423178.
