Role in LCA:

I joined the LCANZ committee after completing my Post Graduate Diploma in Environmental Management studying LCA and zero waste. I am passionate about sustainability in business and how to achieve this. I am interested in companies taking responsibility for waste through product stewardship and working towards a circular economy. I see Life Cycle Thinking and Life Cycle Assessments as great tools to help achieve these goals. NZ companies could make their point of difference for example by changing packaging types to reduce environmental impacts.
I am a member of the Zero Waste Network which keeps me in touch with what community resource recycling organisations are doing. I am also a member of wasteMINZ.
My career background is in accountancy, small business accounting roles and systems accounting in large companies.
