King Salmon publishes first food EPD in Australasia

New Zealand King Salmon have published the first food EPD in Australasia. The EPD was registered in October 2021 and will be valid till 2026. The company is the world’s largest producer of King Salmon, with over 30 years of experience in this sector.

The EPD results show that the total GWP impacts for head-on gutted salmon is 13.3 Kg CO2-eq. whereas the value-added version has a GWP of 9.15 Kg CO2-eq.
